Therapy

Sandy Goodman developed his own innovative synthesis of somatic therapy that was engaging, sensitive, and powerful. Building on the principles of Wilhelm Reich, the father of somatic (body-based) psychology, Sandy worked both privately and in groups to facilitate personal change by softening defensive patterns, integrating inner feelings and experiences, and fostering ever more honest styles of relating. The therapy focused on breath, eye contact, direct muscular intervention, and emotional release. To his therapeutic work, he brought a generous spirit and deep curiosity.
